Black Peter is a popular Dutch Christmas character who helps out Santa as his personal slave! Created in the 1840s; Black Peter beats children, is not at all intelligent and, speaks broken Dutch. The Dutch defend the character by saying, “he’s only black from sliding down chimneys” but, popular literature tells otherwise! During the Holiday season, the Dutch can be seen publicly dressing up in Black-face as Black Peter. YES; IN THIS POST RACIAL ERA!
