Record store day Chicago ( Pugs interviews his Pops on the subject)

I asked my dad a former radio Dj in Mississippi, Pittsburgh, and Chicago in the 70’s -80’s what was the importance of vinyl culturally, on this record store day… his answer took me back to my days hanging in mom and pop record stores just getting into Hip Hop and the community these stores created.. I feel now Galley’s & boutiques have been adopted to those places to meet and socialize
