Ain’t no such thing as “Just Music.”

Music is one of the most powerful cultural, economic, & political forces that humans have invented.

Every single significant Historical Epoch, Ideological Framework, & Mass Movement is inspired, spread, advanced, & sustained by Music!🎺

Both Oppressive & Liberation ideologies have their own musical genres & catalogs.

There is Imperialist Music, Nazi Music, Colonizer Music, Capitalist Music, Christian Music, Fascist Music, White Supremacy Music.

There is Black Power Music, Decolonization Music, Pan-African, Civil Rights Music, Socialist Music, Women’s Liberation Music.

All Music is advocating for or representing a World View & Social Theory, especially the Music that presents itself as apolitical or Pop Music.

So if you believe that Music is Just Music & a Song is Just a Song you are politically & historically illiterate, & you need to Cultivate your critical thinking & media analysis skills.

Building on this understanding, the Black Community must come to terms with the fact that the most popular & successful Black performers & Music are what Del Jones termed “Anti-African Propaganda.” They are subversive to the interest & advancement of the Black Community.

Please make a conscious effort to produce, promote, & elevate Revolutionary, Pan-African Music & Artist.

Lost Cargo 5

https://culturepower45.bandcamp.com/album/lost-cargo-5

We started with a break beat and a blank wall; these artifacts designed entire generations while cultivating the past. This tradition is better known as Hip Hop or B Boying. Lost Cargo 5 was crafted from these same traditions of using a blank wall to design a future of superior Art making. Bronx children took basic elements of dance, song and painting and turned these components into lifestyles or a way of life. We created Lost Cargo 5 as an example of Hip Hop’s mores from recorded sound, gifts from a variety of thoughtful selectors who use their minds to design the echoes of our forgotten ancestors.

Creativity is the Crown of a Nation that floats with mission statements to break cycles realigned on blocked corners near Ida B Wells. This project has a Radius of legendary consciousness from the analog back log to a digital pit, where grim cuts dial the sun’s love in memory of the bliss of Dot Jean, that’s Fat but nice like a smile from a city founded by Jean Baptiste Point du Sable you get the point? We are architects running on emotions where nine scientists perform alright over beat boxes in Arizona heat knowing international MC’s that play sampled trumpets knowing his story of marsh lands to become Sears Towers where kings that go unwanted become Lost Cargo as an example of true Power. The Prototype” by ADUM⁷ @ADUM7x #ADUM7X

“The Prototype” by ADUM⁷

MANAFEST VISION MEDIA LLC. is excited to announce a new instrumental album by ADUM⁷ called “The Prototype.” The new album is one of many that will be released during the last quarter of 2019.

“I paint with sound and these instrumentals I cooked up are songs you can dive into and get lost in. This is simply me as a visual artist having fun channeling my spirit each and every time while sitting in front of the keyboard to paint with sound.”

Inspired by MC and music producer Undakova during Fall 2019, ADUM⁷ was gently challenged to put out 100 instrumentals before 2020. Undakova discovered while teaching music production to at-risk youth up in the Bronx alongside ADUM⁷,  that ADUM⁷ (similar to countless artists in history) had a stash of unreleased work that the world, particularly fans of indie Hip-Hop are not familiar with. Accepting the challenge, ADUM⁷ shares 15 new instrumentals that blend elements of the NYC boom-bap style with trap, experimental, lo-fi and electronic music.

“Sometimes as artists, we create so much material that the world never gets to see or experience it. We end up hoarding our divinely inspired ideas and vibrations for whatever reason we create for ourselves.  It makes me think about all of the amazingly unique material that has gone unreleased via countless friends of mine that have already ascended back up to the stars.  I’m so over a lot of things these days, especially any barriers or hurdles for me being fully self-expressed as a creative. Sometimes as artists we overthink – we want a team, we want better mixes, we want better marketing strategy…we want, we want. While we wait for those things to fall into place, life continues on and before you know it…none of our work gets heard because you are just waiting.  We get in our own way and the people that want to see us win never really get to see how serious we are when it comes to the quality and volume(s) of what we create. Hoarding the work isn’t really where the fun is, the fun is in creating and letting go to make space for new inspiration. It is kinda like a rinse and repeat cycle so to speak. I am enjoying this challenge of just letting go and letting my work resonate where it’s supposed with the people it’s supposed while not being focused on any expectations for reactions at all. I am just really happy and on tilt to put the music out and let it go. This album is dedicated to a friend that I lost earlier this year to non-Hodgkins lymphoma. She was one of the founding members of EOW Toronto. Much love to Monica “Nika Dala” Nguyen.”
