LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The death of a local woman who was found injured on a city street has been ruled accidental by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.

In a news release issued Monday, the Little Rock Police Department provided an update on the December 1 death of Korsha Rogers, 34, who was found lying on Kanis Road.

When the incident happened, police said a witness told officers they saw the woman get thrown from a truck.

Investigators tracked down the vehicle the witness described and spoke to the driver. He told police that Rogers climbed out of the passenger side window on her own. The man was then released without charges pending further investigation.

Police say no evidence was found in or under the vehicle.

Rogers was taken to the hospital and died soon after.

The investigative file will be forwarded to the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for any possible charges, the news release said.
